The Be Connected subcommittee strives to increase the visibility of the Guam Young Professionals, to bring members together, and to foster camaraderie and career networking through mixers, community events, and general membership meetings.

BE INSPIRED

 

The Be Inspired subcommittee focuses on three key areas:

 

  • Professional Development

  • Career Placement & Advancement

  • Community Service & Volunteerism

 

The goal of the Be Inspired subcommittee is to provide opportunities for the GYP membership to be productive and contributing members of the Island community. This subcommittee undertakes outreach efforts to students preparing to enter the Island's workforce, and takes part in philanthropic activities benefiting local charities and environmental concerns.

BE INFLUENTIAL

 

The Be Influential subcommittee focuses on these key areas:

 

  • Business and Economic Issues

  • Legislative Issues

  • Special Interests

 

​The Be Influential subcommittee's mission is to be "One Engine of Change." The subcommittee strives to educate its members on being a vibrant force of conscientious young professionals who understand the value of getting on the public record and helping most where our local economy requires. The Be Influential subcommittee's signature events include At the Table luncheons with notable members of the business community and the You Decide Election Series.
